JIM BUDREAU is a dynamic Boston based attorney with over 20 years of experience in complex criminal and civil litigation and appeals in state and federal court. Jim has taught at Harvard Law School, clerked for the Massachusetts Superior Court and is on the Board of Directors for the Massachusetts Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys. In addition to successfully representing clients in various high profile criminal cases and appeals, Jim’s practice areas include representation before regulatory agencies, civil rights litigation, business litigation and employment law. His group also has a highly successful family law, divorce and professional disciplinary practice with over twenty years of experience.   • FEDERAL COURT ACQUITTAL
    Acquittal in federal case alleging client had used his corporation as a front for a criminal  enterprise that included allegations of  laundering illegal proceeds through the company.
  • EMPLOYMENT CONTRACTS SETTLEMENT
    Settlement in multi million dollar stock options case where client was improperly terminated after seeking to enforce stock options agreement.
  • VACATED OUI CONVICTION
    Predicate for third OUI offense vacated. This resulted in a Court finding that the most recent case was a 1st conviction because of a statutory technicality.
